Matrix Basements is proud to sponsor the Million Dollar Hole-In-One Contest, presented by NEWS 3 NOW, taking place this summer at Vitense Golfland in Madison, Wisconsin. It's one of the biggest community events of the season, and we're excited to be part of it.
What's Happening
From July 6 through July 10, 2026, amateur golfers from across Wisconsin will compete in qualifying rounds for a shot at golf history: a hole-in-one from more than 150 yards out. The 20 closest shots from qualifying will advance to the Final Round on July 11, where one swing could win a $1,000,000 grand prize.
Whether you're a low-handicap regular or just looking for a fun way to spend a summer afternoon, this is an event for the whole community to enjoy.
Event Details
- Location: Vitense Golfland, Madison, WI
- Qualifying Rounds: July 6–10, 2026, 11 AM – 8 PM
- Final Round: July 11, 2026
- Entry Fees: $5 for 1 ball, $10 for 3 balls, $20 for 7 balls
- Eligibility: Must be 18 or older and an amateur golfer
All proceeds from the event benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County, supporting local kids and families right here in our community.
